Yesterday, I went to my local health food store to pick up a few things and came upon a really neat product that I thought I’d share with you.
All of my clients know that I am completely obsessed with natural chunky peanut butter. It’s the one food that causes me to lose complete control. Yep, it’s true, I’m a true PB addict. Unfortunately, just 1 tablespoon of this heavenly spread equals 100 calories and trust me, I can NEVER stop at just 1 spoonful. So, as I was reaching for my favourite jar, I came upon a jar of THIS.
So what is it? And why did it make me do cartwheels through the store??? Quite simply, PB2 is powdered peanut butter.
All you need to do to transform this powder into creamy deliciousness is to mix with water. AND, the best part of PB2 is that it contains 85% less fat than regular peanut butter and half the calories! One tablespoon is just 50 calories! This morning, I added a tablespoon to my chocolate protein shake and was it ever yummy! I bought the chocolate PB2 but am quickly going back for the original PB2 (minus the chocolate). If you’re a lover of peanut butter like I am, then you should definitely check this stuff out. Oh, and did I mention that PB2 contains zero preservatives and artificial sweeteners?
