I often tell my clients that in order to get healthy and lose unwanted pounds, the first thing they must do is reduce (not eliminate) white or refined sugars from their daily diet. I refer to sugar quite frequently, as poison or a drug, because the more we consume it, the more our bodies crave it. Once we remove most of it from our diet (restricting it to very infrequent times such as special occasions or just when we REALLY WANT something yummy), the cravings will disappear and we will go for long periods of time without ever wanting it again.
Now, it’s not so easy to do this but I urge you all to get there as soon as you can. Not only will you feel better during your workouts and throughout your busy days, but you will look better too. Your hair will be shinier, your skin will be clearer and brighter and your bloating and puffiness will dissipate.
Ironically, my hubby came upon this article on one of his morning websites that he visits. It basically confirms all that I’ve just spoken about.
